A great book if you have already been to Barcelona but even better if you are yet to go. It almost made me feel as if I was there, the book is an experience in itself. Loved it.

This is exactly the kind of book that I like to read before traveling somewhere. I’m honestly thinking that I will use this book as an excuse to try to visit Barcelona now.
What makes this book so great is its organization and information. It starts out with a history of the different kinds of art you can find in Barcelona, with just enough information so you have the broad strokes of the history. Then you start getting advice on what kind of art you can see and the best ways to see it. There are even hints on how to see art for free or reduced prices and what time is best to visit. The author also gives examples of how to make a schedule so you can fit a lot in.
If you don’t actually want to visit Barcelona, you can still read this fantastic book and look at the amazing pictures of the city. While you are reading the book, you can look up Barcelona walking tours on YouTube to get more of the full experience.

This book is fun if you plan to visit Barcelona or just get a sense of the city and its art and the associated artists. There’s few days worth of museum hopping that you can do. You get a sense of the place, artists, museums art curators and how the city is teeming with art and artists alike with its street graffiti and sculptures and gardens.
