Tap On Barcelona Day Three

Hanata with her prize tap plate and Ruben Sanchez shoes

Renata wins for her tight technique and Brazilian beats

For many at the Tap On Barcelona festival today was about blisters and nerves. Many have danced over 20 hours in three days and tonight was the cutting comp! My new friend Renata from Brazil won intermediate level with Ludo taking out first in the pro comp. And it was fierce, with JJ, Maud and Basilio on the panel. I was there and spoke to both the winners.. so keep tuned for the video. In the meantime, my question is, why didn’t I pack more clean socks? Between classes and event, no time for such thing as washing. Will have to purchase on way to studio… in six hours … before another next six hours of tap! Buenos Noches.
