I’m delighted to be presenting a series of Paris-inspired events across Australia, France and beyond over the coming months — from intimate talks and cinematic evenings to exhibitions, walking tours, conversations, performances and creative collaborations inspired by my books and life between Paris and Australia.
Bienvenus!
Cinema lovers will especially enjoy many of these events, inspired by The Movie Lover’s Guide to Paris — a journey through the cafés, cinemas, hidden streets and iconic locations that have shaped Paris on screen for more than a century. Together we’ll explore everything from the Lumière brothers and the French New Wave to modern-day Parisian cinema, alongside personal stories, photography and behind-the-scenes anecdotes gathered over years of reporting, wandering and occasionally getting wonderfully lost in the City of Light.
But cinema is only part of the story.
There will also be evenings inspired by art, architecture, photography, music and travel — and oui… tap dance too. Bien sur… Some events will include live performance elements, virtual walks through Paris, special guests, exhibitions, Q&As, French-inspired atmospheres and perhaps even a few surprises along the way.
Whether you’re a devoted Francophile, a curious traveller, a passionate cinephiles, an art lover, or simply dreaming of your next Paris escape, I hope these gatherings feel warm, immersive and a little transportive — like stepping into another world, or into an immersive cinema, for an evening.
You’ll find upcoming talks, launches, screenings, exhibitions, workshops, short movies and appearances listed here, with more dates added regularly as new adventures unfold.
Looking forward to sharing the stories, photos, clips and rhythms with you.
À bientôt in Australia, Paris… or somewhere in between for some cinematic experiences together.
