Ruby TV is attending the final concert of the Australian cabaret duo with a difference Jazmin & Monsieur P at the gorgeous St Germain jazz club in Paris, Caveau des Légends!

It’s on 27th October from 830pm, good wine, full bar and tasty snacks will be available. Jazmin & Monsieur P (tap dancer Jazmin Baret & singer Ben Palumbo), in Europe for the Paris Burlesque festival and Autumn Leaves tour, have just returned from London where they performed at DUCKIE, with the Bebop Boys in Brixton, the Desert Island Disco at electric with Danny Rampling and with the Dion Palumbo Ensemble…. while gracing Ronnie Scott’s with London Tap Jam’s Annette Walker and The Royal Albert Hall (Amy Winehouse benefit).

The duo will be returning to Europe next year, but catch them now while you can. This is an opportunity also to check out the hot Paris based A list Australian jazz musicians they’ve managed to line up for the show! Singer Wendy Lee Taylor of Lido de Paris fame, double bass player Sebastien Girardot who’s album ‘Django à la Creole’ was named best jazz album 2010 in The Times (UK) and guitarist Alex Stuart who recently won Jazz à Juan révélation 2011, one of the most prestigious jazz awards in France! Paris Tap Crew will bust a Mr Brown move or two and there will  be loads of special guest tap dancers, recruited from the Paris Tap Jam, as well as some surprise guest singers and musicians.

If you’re in Paris, come along and be in the audience as we’ll be filming the show. Entrance is free. The interview with Jazmin & Monsier P will be directed by Elise McLeod, Australian based director and acting coach to be reckoned with and the show filmed by Inoe Scherer, a talented Australian cinematographer. Photographers Fabien Wack and Christophe Brachet will be capturing the moments! Parisians and internationals won’t be shy dress up for the occastion.
